Canard opened in Portland, Oregon on April 16th.
On weekdays from 2:30-5:00 p.m. at Little Bird, part of two-time James Beard award-winner Gabriel Rucker’s local mini-empire, choose from half-priced oysters, roasted marrow bones, foie gras torchon, and a double-patty burger with brie ($7), a rich, messy, thoroughly satisfying affair that’s well worth the extra napkins.
The cult-favorite West Coast-based ice cream company will be serving park-goers as early as the fall.
Canard, the wine bar from James Beard Award-winning chef Rucker and wine director Andy Fortgang, opens right next door to their foundational Portland French restaurant Le Pigeon.
