About Jordan Johnson:

Jordan’s career in hospitality media began at Broussard Communications, working as the firm’s Account Coordinator for two and a half years. The role ignited a passion for her; telling the stories of the hard-working, creative, and courageous folks behind Portland’s culinary renaissance was electrifying. Her time at Broussard inspired Jordan to start @DrawnHungry, an artistic project that celebrates figures in the culinary world through digital portraits of chefs, farmers, food media icons, and illustrations of their delectable dishes. Jordan’s @DrawnHungry work has been featured in Bon Appetit onlineStar Chef’s Magazine, and Fresh Cup Magazine, the last of which she served as Associate Editor for two years.

As Associate Editor of Fresh Cup, a specialty coffee and tea trade publication, Jordan gained invaluable insight into food and beverage media production. She wrote weekly news coverage of the industry, organized and proofed a monthly print magazine, created educational illustrations, wrote feature articles, managed the company’s social media presence, and produced a waste-reduction seminar focused on café spaces. When she has free time, Jordan loves to bake, spend time with her family in Yamhill, Oregon, and hang out with her pet rabbit, Willie Nelson. Jordan is thrilled to bring her experience in unique multi-media storytelling to the Broussard Communications team once again.
